With Sympathy Sunflower

Hi friends, sharing my first ever sympathy card. I tried to keep it soft and calming. It was a hard card to make really. I thought about changing the sentiment to something totally different but decided to just leave it alone.

With that said I do love my new Jaunty Sunflower wafer dies from Simon Says Stamp Friend Like You collection.

I layered & offset four sunflowers that were inked with Stampin Ups summer sun & mustard seed distress ink on an oval die.

Sunflowers center is a scrap of pattern paper from my stash. Leaf dies were colored with mowed lawn distress ink.

Sentiment stamp from Memory Box was heat embossed with Wow clear embossing powder in fern green ink. Finishing card with a few Honey Bee gems.

Thank you for dropping by your comments are always appreciated!

 Stay Creative. Tee

  5. This is a pretty sympathy card. I have an opinion that Sympathy cards should be happy and not sad as that person needs something to lift their spirits, not bring them down and this card is just perfect! Thanks for playing at Color Hues.
