Alphabet Challenge V is for Volume

Hi friends, we are on the letter V and V is for Volume over @ the Alphabet Challenge Blog.

To create some volume I used Gina K's foam squares to pop up my cards front after die cutting a circle off center. I adhered front to the Secret Garden designer paper by Brutus Monroe. Inlaid Sentiment is from Waffle Flowers Paper Hugs Sentiments. To finish up my card I added a little bow & some Honeybee gem stickers.

Alphabet Challenge T is for Texture

Hi crafty friends, time for a new Alphabet Challenge! We are on the letter T and T is for Texture!

For my card I smooched some vintage rose & peacock feathers distress inks on white card stock and ran it through with Simon Says 'Bold Bird Branches' embossing folder & cutting die set.

Bird die cuts were colored with the same distress inks and adhered to cards front & inside card. Flower die cut from my craft stash colored with distress ink with a blue shiny gem added to the center.

Sentiment is from Simons You2 stamp set stamped in Ocean ink. I framed card with a scalloped die to finish.

Thank you for stopping by!

Join us in this fun challenge!  And I'll see u there.

Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! Sharing my last Christmas card for this year, using Katzelkraft's stamp- Fox Mail (love this guy). He was colored with Prismacolor pencils, fussy cut and adhered to the brick background from Angie Blom's background design collections. Splattering background with a little white acrylic paint to finish.

'O' Christmas Tree

Wishing You Cheer All Year

Today I am sharing a tag I made with gold glittered burlap over a manila tag.
I found this glitter burlap and a pretty red 5" x 5' roll at my Family dollar, (wish I would have picked up more than 1 roll each while I was there!)
I cut out a Christmas tree template I found on the web and adhered it to sturdy card stock and covered with designer paper from Kaisercraft. Added little gold stamens with tacky glue. Tree was adhered with pop up dots to tag.
Embellishing with gold trim, a vintage button and a little hand cut tag-stamping the holiday sentiment with jet black archival ink.

Supplies:

#8 Tag
Glitter Burlap
Card Stock
Designer Paper
Gold Stamens
Vintage Button
Gold Trim
Small Talk Sticker-Occasions
Unity Sentiment Stamp
Black Archival Ink
Tarnish Brass Distress Paint
Tacky Glue

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your branches green delight us!
They are green when summer days are bright,
They are green when winter snow is white.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your branches green delight us!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
You give us so much pleasure!
How oft at Christmas tide the sight,
O green fir tree, gives us delight!
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
You give us so much pleasure!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Forever true your colour.
Your boughs so green in summertime
Stay bravely green in wintertime.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Forever true your colour.
