Alphabet Challenge N is for Night

Hey Crafting Friends, a new challenge starts over @ the Alphabet Challenge! We are on the letter N and N is for Night!

For my card I'm using Angie Blom's Haunted Backgrounds.

I colored with markers & highlighted with Gelly roll pens.

I used the colorless blender marker on background over the blue to lighten in areas.

Creepy 31st sentiment stamp is from my stash. I added a tiny 31 sticker for address.

Batty For You

 Hi crafty friends It's Day 5 of LeighSBDesigns 31 Days of Halloween Hop! Hop on over & see the spooktacular Halloween makes & join in the fun!

Things are getting a little batty around here. (In more ways than one.) 

This is Halloween basics from Simons Says Stamp, and I'm loving these bats!! It is my new favorite stamp set this year, and I'll be sharing more cards using it in the hop!

For my card I started out with black card stock & rubbed in Beluga solar paste by Simon Hurley (love this stuff). You can see the color change & beautiful sheen it made.

 I then used a small round sponge and dabbed on metallic gold acyclic paint all over.

I stamped the bats on it, not sure how the black pigment ink would take to the solar paste & paint. I did go over the sentiment & bats some with a black marker. (I think an archival ink would have worked best)

 Using one of Echo Parks small bat dies colored with the gold paint and adhered to card to finish.
