I loved her cards design when I first saw it! And had to recreate it.

Hey friends, it is Monday & time for a new challenge @ Make My Monday!  

The Theme is Clean & Simple.

On my card I used my new Purple Onion Designs 'Miles Up, Up & Away' stamp. Colored cute image with markers & a white pen. Sentiment stamp is Impression Obsessions stamped in black onyx. I used ocean ink to create shadow on background. Framed with a pretty blue cardstock to finish.

Alphabet Challenge S is for Square

Hello crafty friends! S is for Square over @ the Alphabet Challenge Blog.

For my card I used the pretty florals paper 'Spring Splatter' by Brutus Monroe to paper 2"x 2" cardstock squares, the little birds and on the background.

 I added my new birdies dies from Simon Says & played around with them until I got something I thought worked.

 Hugs die from my stash was colored with the same blue/gray marker that I used to outline squares & card with. I finished card with little black gems for birdies eyes.

Today's card is a little bit of both the Holidays! I got my new Adornment Pumpkin die from Birch Press Designs & I had the candy canes already made so this is what it led too. Pretty patterned paper is Christmas Flora from Carta Bella. Little star dies are from my stash & candy cane dies are from Spellbinders. Happy Holidays metallic sticker is Tims.

LeighSBDesigns 31 Days of Halloween Hop Day 5

Batty For You

 Hi crafty friends It's Day 5 of LeighSBDesigns 31 Days of Halloween Hop! Hop on over & see the spooktacular Halloween makes & join in the fun!

Things are getting a little batty around here. (In more ways than one.) 

This is Halloween basics from Simons Says Stamp, and I'm loving these bats!! It is my new favorite stamp set this year, and I'll be sharing more cards using it in the hop!

For my card I started out with black card stock & rubbed in Beluga solar paste by Simon Hurley (love this stuff). You can see the color change & beautiful sheen it made.

 I then used a small round sponge and dabbed on metallic gold acyclic paint all over.

I stamped the bats on it, not sure how the black pigment ink would take to the solar paste & paint. I did go over the sentiment & bats some with a black marker. (I think an archival ink would have worked best)

 Using one of Echo Parks small bat dies colored with the gold paint and adhered to card to finish.

LeighSBDesigns 31 Days of Halloween Hop Day 4

Hello crafting friends, it is day 4 of LeighSBDesigns 15th Annual 31 Days of Halloween Hop!

 Playing as a Wicked Maker in this challenge. Hoping to do all 31 days!  Today I'm Sharing another card with Mr. Skelly enjoying his pumpkin spice coffee! (He enjoys his coffee just as much as I do!) Death Before Decaf is my new stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps. Bat stamp is from my Halloween stash. 

I masked him off & did the background in Distress Ink & Dylusions Shimmer Sprays. Using markers to color & I gave him black eyes with Honeybee gem stickers.

HAPPY Birthday

 Hello, crafting friends, sharing a card I made with my new 'Happy' Cover die from Simon Says Stamp Moments of Time Collection.  I die cut it twice using a black card stock & then again with Spring Splatter paper by Brutus Monroe.

 Happy Birthday Marker Script dies by Memory Box that I cut off the top Happy part, just adding the Birthday instead. Even though HAPPY Happy Birthday would have worked as well.

I had fun with this HAPPY cover die and do want to see what other different kind of cards I can make with it.
