Make My Monday/Embossing (Wet or Dry)

Hi crafty friends, time for a new challenge over @ Make My Monday! The new theme is Embossing Wet or Dry.

On my card I did both using the Bold Branches embossing folder from Simon Says and heat embossed the sentiment from Stampendous Friendly Phrases using Ranger's embossing ink pad with liquid platinum embossing powder.

Using a black card panel, I ran a Versa Color white ink pad over my embossed image a few times. Heat embossing my sentiment also on black cardstock, cut out & adhered to card. Added red stickles to bird's eyes. 

Letting everything dry & then brushed over card panel with some matte Modge Podge to seal and add some texture.

Finishing card with a few HoneyBee gems.

Christmas in July

Hi, my crafty friends, today starts a new challenge @ 613 Avenue Create! The theme is always Anything Goes with the optional twist of Any Holiday.

Make My Monday/Diecut



Hello crafting friends, the new challenge theme starting @ Make My Monday is to Use a Die Cut or Punch!
I recently purchased Tim Holtz Idea-ology engraving layers die cuts and I used the pretty roses out of the pack for this card.

I colored the roses with red, pink & green marker and adhered to "You and Me" designer paper from Stamperia.
Framing with We R Memory Keepers scalloped card die, colored with the same red marker. 
Tim's big chat stickers were used for the phrase. Finishing card with a few red gem adhesive dots.

613 Avenue Create/ Any Occasion



Hi, everyone, we have a new challenge starting @ 613 Avenue Create! The theme is Always Anything Goes with the option of Any Occasion.

For my card I used Angie Blom's "Excites the Spirit Bird" that I colored with alcohol markers, highlighting with a white gelly roll pen.

 Sentiments are from Stampendous "Friendly Phrases" stamped in Memento's Tuxedo Black ink.

MMM/Gnomes


Hello Monday! It's time for a new challenge @ Make My Monday! 
The theme is Gnomes.
For my card I used Angie Blom Digital Designs- Gnome Sweet Gnome.
I colored image with marker, fussy cut and adhered to Retro Summer designer paper by Craft Consortium.
 Scalloped Card frame die used is- We R Memory Keepers.

B is for Balloon

The Dream Factory Challenge #132 B is for Balloon 

Optional Twist- Use 3 Colors from Films Poster



             Hi crafting friends! I'm guest designing for this month's 
    B is for Balloon Challenge @ The Dream Factory! 

I found this fun image of a hot air balloon @ Angie Blom Digital Designs.
I colored the balloon with alcohol markers. Lightly sponged the clouds and background with salty ocean distress ink. The balloon and clouds were fussy cut and adhered to card panel. I used adhesive foam dots on balloon and a cloud for some dimension.
The birds and journey sentiment are from Tim Holtz stamps, stamped with Memento's tuxedo back ink.
