Sending Warm Winter Wishes

Hi crafty friends, sharing my first card of 2026 with Aspenglow from LeighSBDesigns Winter Collection.
I colored this pretty winter scene with alcohol markers, highlighting the mountain and snow with a white pen. Not showing - but snowy glitter was added to cards front. Sentiment from stash was stamped in jet black ink.

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe...

Hello crafting friends, just a quick post to share this cute Rudolph's Mischief digi from SheepSki Designs that I colored with markers. Sentiments from my stash were stamped in cherry red and I added a couple of gems for his eyes and a scalloped die to finish card.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & the Happiest New Year!

613 Avenue Create Challenge Sparkle & Shine

Hi Friends, it's time for a new challenge over @ 613 Avenue Create. Decembers Challenge is Anything Goes/Optional Twist Sparkle & Shine.

For this challenge I'm using Angie Blom's Poinsettia Background. I've been running behind on things here... So, I made a quick card & left the Poinsettia's white, coloring only the leaves & filling the centers with gold stickles.
Merry Christmas die is from Echo Park.

Alphabet Challenge Q is For Quote / The Little Match Girl

Hey friends, time for a new challenge over @ the Alphabet Blog. We are on letter Q and Q is For Quote!

 Come play with us!

I found this little match girl with the beautiful Christmas quote for my card's inspiration, from Mo's Digital Pencil.

The Little Match Girl. On a freezing New Year's Eve, a poor young girl, frozen, shivering, bareheaded and barefoot, unsuccessfully tries to sell matches in the street. Afraid to go home because her father would beat her for failing to sell any matches and not earning even a single penny, she huddles in the alley between two houses and lights matches, one by one, to warm herself.

In the flame of the matches, she sees a series of comforting visions: a warm iron stove, a lovely roasted goose, and a great glorious Christmas tree. Each vision disappears as its match burns out. In the sky, she sees a shooting star, which her late grandmother had told her meant that someone is on their way to Heaven. In the flame of the next match she sees her late grandmother, the only person that ever treated her with love and kindness. To keep the vision of her grandmother alive as long as possible, the girl lights the entire bundle of matches she had.

When the matches are gone, the girl freezes to death in the cold weather, as her grandmother carries her soul to Heaven. The next morning, passers-by find the girl's body with a smile on her face, and express pity. They do not know about the wonderful visions she had seen or how happy she is with her grandmother in Heaven.
