With Love

Hi crafty friends, sharing a card I did with the 3D Christmas Rose embossing folder from Crafters Companion. I tried something different and colored roses lightly with red & green pencils and then went over it many times with Gelatos.

First rubbing in metallic icing all over embossing, then rubbing in some iced melon. I kept repeating this till I got the effect I was happy with. I added a little iced currant to roses too, rubbing in well. Iced pear was put on the leaves.

If you're not familiar with Gelatos they are a water-soluble pigment crayon. My set are the metallics Gelatos that give a pretty shimmery finish.

'With Love' sentiment was stamped in red geranium archival ink & heat embossed in clear. Finishing with some sparkly Honey Bee gems.

Delicate Blooms

Hi friends, sharing a card using the Delicate Blooms embossing folder that I couldn't run all the way through my Platinum 6 with the "sandwich" suggested. I got 1/4 way through and stopped for fear of breaking the machine. I'm going to purchase Spellbinders Universal Plate System and see how that works. Has anybody purchased it and your thoughts on it?
Anyway, instead of throwing the embossed image out I ran a couple of ink pads over it, and this was the result.
Just thought I would share with you and get your feedback.
