New Challenge @ The Dream Factory- Candy Cane Lane

 Hey friends I'm guest designing over @ The Dream Factory today! They always host some great challenges based on fun movies! The new challenge theme is Candy Cane Lane & Anything Christmassy Goes! Inspiration for the challenge can come from the poster or something else in the film.

I watched the movie because I hadn't seen it yet, and I'm an Eddie Murphy fan.

The inspiration for my card comes from the movie's title Candy Cane Lane!

Your options are open with anything Christmassy! Lights, Ornaments, Christmas Trees, Santa, Snowmen Rudolph, to name a few.

All handmade projects are excepted for the challenge: cards, tags, art journal page, box, canvas, 3 D projects etc.  This is going to be a fun challenge & I can't wait to see what you create.

Christmas in July Poinsettias

Hello, crafting friends, sharing a card, I made for Angie Blom's Christmas in July FB Challenge using Angie's Poinsettia background.

I colored Poinsettias with markers, adding some vivid yellow with a Gelly roll pen to flower centers. I used a scalloped die cut, matted to black card stock and onto a white card base.

Sentiment also from Angie Blom was printed out & adhered to card.

Merry Christmas!

Hello crafty friends! Sharing a card I made today with Sweet N Sassy's pinecone background stamp. I stamped in clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Wow gold embossing powder, and does it shine! Love the effect! Colored pine needles with marker and used metallic gelato and water brush for the pine cones. 

Merry Christmas stamp from art-c stamped in vermillion archival ink.

A Tiny Craft ATC Challenge Happy Holidays! - With Christmas Gnomes

I love ATC's! So I was delighted to be asked as a guest designer for A Tiny Craft ATC Challenge! The Theme for December is Happy Holidays! 

So I made three Artist Trading Cards with Sweet N Sassy's Christmas Gnomes Stamp set.

 

I think these gnomes are super cute, and I had fun making these little ATC's with them! 

Gnomes were stamped in jet black ink, embossed in clear, and colored with markers.

I colored a couple of the backgrounds with Gelatos and a water brush pen, for a pretty sheen!

 Other stamps used are from my stash.
