613 Avenue Create June Challenge Craft or Hobby

Hello crafty friends, a new challenge is up @ 613 Avenue CreateAlways Anything Goes with optional Twist of Craft or Hobby.

My favorite pastime or hobby besides cardmaking is working with plants/gardening.

Today I'm sharing a bright, cheery & fun card that I colored with markers using Houseplant Hillary from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. Matting to a scalloped card die that I colored a bright red & finishing card with Tim's small talk stickers.

Love his fun & quirky designs!

Do what you love, love what you do

Alphabet Challenge B is for Balls

Hey crafty friends, time for another Alphabet Challenge!

We are on the letter B and B is for Balls.

For this challenge I'm using Slam Dunk Duncan from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. Duncan is showing off his basketball skills in this fun image!

I colored him with markers in the same tone, matted to an orangey paper & added Tims big chat stickers to complete a CAS card.

Come play along with us & share your projects!

And Stay Creative. Tee

Night Shift

Hello Crafting Friends! I had fun putting this card together using "Night Shift" by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. I do love his Digi's! This one especially - brings back memories of my grandpa who was a night watchman for many years on the 3rd shift.
I started with Craft Consortiums Over the Rainbow paper.  Brushing over paper with an acrylic paint in silver metallic.
I used silver stickles for some sparkle & interest.
Stamping different background stamps in red, black & green.  Spritzing on some Lindy's rose-pink starburst spray.

Night Shift was colored with markers and fussy cut. I outline him in the same marker colors I used to color him with.
I printed the words night shift on cardstock, cut, outlined in dark green and adhered everything to card panel with Nuvo's clear adhesive.

Strongo the Magnificent

Hi crafty friends, I made a card with Strongo the Magnificent by Dr. Digi's House of stamps. This guy reminds me of my son who likes to flex his muscles in the mirror. LOL

Strongo was colored with markers, fussy cut and adhered to over the rainbow paper by Craft Consortium, that was stenciled in with one of Tim's stencils using distress ink.

I flicked some white acrylic paint & added a small talk sticker & distressed card with archival black ink to finish.

Thanks for coming by today. Your comments are always appreciated!

Anglin' Andy

Hi crafty friends, sharing a fun card I did using Anglin' Andy from Dr. Dig's House of Stamps. I colored him with markers, fussy cut and adhered to Craft Consortium retro summer paper. I stamped the background with different Tim Holtz stamps in jet black, fern green & red geranium inks. Finishing card with Tim's small talk sticker.

I tried using a white ink, but it just melted into stamp instead of staying on top and giving a print. What white ink have you found that will actually print your stamp!? Please let me know if you would. It would be appreciated.

Thanks for stopping in today! Stay Creative. Tee
