I got inky last night and my fingers are still blue! Today I would like to share a mixed media tag I made with a large chipboard tag, I love the thickness and sturdiness of these tags and they are my favorite to work with.
I started the tag off with applying decou-page matte medium over pattern paper and distressed the edges with a fingernail file. I used the dots fade stencil with black homemade texture paste- let dry and sprayed the background with hydrangea blue ink, added droplets of water and rubbed some areas with my fingers. Added the flowers, gems and other embellishments. Lastly I used tarnished brass distress paint and rubbed in with fingers, and splattered some picket fence distress paint on with a paint brush. Finishing with big chat words.
