2018 Cat Lovers Hop- Day 1

                           Hello Cat Lovers!!

 It is Day 1 of the Cat Lovers Hop hosted by Janis @ Her Peaceful Garden!
I made a framed artist trading card with one of my favorite Cat stamps.
Stamped on kraft card stock in jet black archival ink, heat embossed in clear and fussy cut. Background and chipboard frame were colored with acrylic paints.

Mixed Media Tag created with designer paper, different background stamps in archival inks and a honeycomb stencil. Sunflower & Bold Sentiment Stamps by Stamporations. Sunflower was colored with distress markers, highlighted with white pen and fussy cut. Mocha seam binding to finish tag.

Flowers whisper what words cannot say....

Inspired by Stamplorations to make a card today!

I stamped the Blooming Buds flowers on cardstock and colored with distress markers and crayons. I then fussy cut the flower tops and leaves and added them over another stamped image on cardstock with tacky glue. I used wild honey distress ink on background stencil over top to finish, and matted to red card base.

Butterfly Creativity

I made a Mixed Media Butterfly tag today for Simons Says Tag It Challenge! I love making tags most of all. And with this beautiful Butterfly Stamp & Die Set by Tim Holtz it was a fun one to make!

Colorful Mixed Media Butterfly Tag

I started my tag out using a piece of handmade paper I have been hoarding for years! I love this stuff! (It does eat the alcohol markers though)

I used a stencil, distress inks, Lindy's starburst spray and a quote stamp to create the background.

Using my new Tims Holtz Butterfly Stamp & Die Set to work with!

I stamped in archival black, clear embossed and die cut.

I colored with different alcohol markers in orange, yellows and green, using a white gelly roll pen to highlight with. And adhered a #1 grunge board number I painted with black distress paint to finish the tag.

Today I made a tag with Tim Holtz Halloween Pumpkins and Witches Hat Stamp & Dies. Background was embossed with spider web and painted with black distress paint, going over it with a little tarnished brass distress paint to highlight.
 I colored the pumpkins with distress crayons and markers. Trick or Treat was a die cut added to paper and covered with matte medium. Adding Halloween colored eyelash trim to tags hanger to finish.
