Sharing another tag I made for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Good Books & Coffee Stamp is from Stamplorations. (I love this stamp set!) 

I stamped sentiment and coffee stack in black archival ink, colored with markers and cut out and adhered to patterned paper. 

And finished by touching up the flowers in a red marker and adding a little bling.

It's Stamptember! Simon Says Stamp It!

It's Stamptember!

I made this tag and was not to happy how it turned out, It definitely needed more work!

 I had embossed with distress embossing powder in shabby shutters. I had not used a distress embossing powder before. I found out it did not want to take color from my red marker, it sort of laid on top. And the stamped words in jet black ink was more gray. So I layered with 3 different red markers to achieve a deeper color and outlined my stamped words and butterfly with a black marker to intensify the stamping. Tag was outlined with shabby shutters distress ink to finish. What do you think...

Having fun with mustard seed and cracked pistachio with this neat umbrella man stamp. Background, clock stencil, and words stamp are done in mustard seed distress ink. Adding in some cracked pistachio distress stain. Stamping umbrella man in jet black archival ink, and ink rings (with a spray bottle lid) randomly for interest. Finishing with small talk word stickers and yellow button.

 Flowers whisper what words cannot say

I used a #8 manila tag. Started background with words in black ink. Using mustard seed distress ink and inks sprays on top.
Budding Buds and sentiment stamp by Stamplorations stamped in white.  Flowers were embossed in clear. Finishing tag with white tulle hanger.

The World Needs More Books

The World Needs More Books.

 I papered a # 8 size tag, colored, stenciled and then stamped my books on top of the background letting it show through.  I double stamped the books for a bigger stack omitting the coffee cup that was originally on top. Using distressed crayons to color the books. And outlining them with a black marker.
Finishing by adding a (young college looking) guy from Tim Holtz paper dolls that fit perfectly on top of the stack.
